Lupita and Carmen Andrade were born conjoined twins from the hip 22 years ago. They were born in Mexico and raised in Connecticut. The two shares a broodstream, pelvic, liver and a productive system. Recently the duo opened about misconceptions around their sex and more. They each have one leg. Lupita controls the right one while Carmen the other.

speaking in an interview with Today.com, they share what it’s like living their life connected to each other.
“It’s not all rainbows and sunshine. We’ve had a lot of challenges, but we have a great life,” Carmen told the outlet. “We go to movies and concerts [sharing one seat] and we travel on airplanes.”
Carmen told the media.
They explained that they had challenges walking and sitting when they were children, However they went for a therapy that helped them overcome. They have never tried to have a surgery to separate them since that would be fatal and dangerous since they share a bloodstream.

When it comes to dating and sex, that where they have a difference. Carmen Andrade has a boyfriend, Daniel while Lupita is asexual. Carmen met her boyfriend Daniel on a dating app and the trio get along so well. Even though Lupita don’t have a boyfriend, she enjoys the company of David alot. Carmen shared that they are not intimate at the moment and their relationship is more like a friendship.

Daniel and I love kids, but we don’t want any of our own,” she added. “I like being a dog mom! Lupita and I can’t get pregnant, we have endometriosis and we’re also on a hormone blocker that prevents us from menstruating.”
Carmen said.
They both have alot of similarities in terms of career and hobbies. They love travelling and swimming. The duo also revealed that they feel each other’s emotions.
“ When we were nearly 6, we had a nightmare that we were going to fall off of a plane, and then we literally fell off of our bed,” Carmen explained. “That only happened once, but we can feel the other person’s emotions. That happens all the time.”
